- Both have a nice install interface and options selections and you can install Shiloh DS - Colored Map and Icons in MO if you use some caution. For Shiloh DS - Colored Map and Icons will install with either the internal or external FOMOD installer, but I got two folders when it finished. One had the game files in it and the other one was empty.
- Difference between Mod Managers and Wrye Bash including Nexus Mod Manager. I even installed FOMM - that didn't help. Share this post.
. Like I said before; I get rid of a mod that is causing the CTD. (The game works, it just a pain to deal with) Project Nevada - Extra Options, I am having trouble with.
FOSE can be used on any computer that has the Fallout 3 game and is fairly easy to install. Install Fallout 3 and run it at least once. You will need to run the regular Fallout 3 game once in order to create the proper files in the Fallout 3 folder.
TTW is installed first. No ifs, buts or maybes. Other than that, the only issue that comes close to 'install order' is the overwriting of resources, which any mod manager will warn you about, and help you prevent it unless desired.Familiarity with the mods you are installing is vital, as other people with exactly the same mods may want one mod's set of data to overwrite the other, while you might want it the other way around. As for PN specifically, I would suggest skipping the Equipment module. Its nice and all, but creates a few duplicate weapons.Make sure you make a bashed and/or merged patch if you have multiple mods editing the same thing (ie leveled lists, npcs, etc). Thanks plum!TTW seems to be working properly. However, Project Nevada recommends I use FOMM rather than NMM (The one I'm using).
Should it still work with NMM?Also, I've extracted the latest NVSE files (.exe and.dll only) into the game folder (but not the SRC files), but when I type 'GetNVSEVersion' into the console, it does not work. Instead I get:SCRIPTS: Script 'SysWindowCompileAndRun', line 1:Script command 'GetNVSEVersion' not found. When I try launching the game through the NVSE launcher, it does not load the 'Tale of Two Wastelands' message on the menu. Also, side note - I've also enabled TTWNoKarmaDCFollowers.esp, TTWBobbleheads.esp and TTWStashPackOptions.esp. Is there a required order for them?

I decided to come back to F:NV but this time mod this game a little, since base is so repetitive for me at this point. I have little modding expierience, since always i try to mod something I end up ruining game files or just going for to many changes, so I decided to take it easy this time and only download the top of the mod list on this sub which are:Project Nevada and its additional contentNew Vegas Bounty.Of course to install Project Nevada I also downloaded much needed NVSE and FOMM.
Project Nevada Extra Options
NVSE was installed properly, i can access console when I launch F:NV and it shows correct version of NVSE.Problem starts when I try to install Project Nevada Next. FOMM shows me error and nothing seems to be fixing it. I tried re-writing packages and changing their extension and opening them as administrator.Creating mod from folder does not work as well and instaling them manually by coping into F:NV folder damaged my game to a point where i could not start it anymore and had to download it once again.Any ideas guys?.
Project Nevada Grenade Hotkey
Try Nevada Skies+Electro City+Interior Lightning Overhaul. Nevada Skies removes that orange tint from the screen, also making skybox much more.
It naturally makes nights darker so you can either install optional NS-Brighter Nights. Esp or install Electro City, mod that adds a ton of streetlights to New Vegas.

And ILO (last one recommended) is changing interiors lightning in much better way than it looks in vanilla. None of this mods affects performance so much, if that matters anyway. Also none of that mods changes the gameplay, just add more immersion (imo). Also since they don't add any objects to the game nor altering existing - you can alway switch them off if you don't like them. Just be cautious with Nevada Skies - package contains many optional esp-files, you will only need one, just follow instructions on mod page and you're good to go.
Also check out. Aaaand you're welcome:).
